Elly, the AI Assistant That Runs Your CRM When You Ask
Most CRMs show you what needs to be done, then leave you to click through it: create the pipeline, add the stages, import the spreadsheet, tag everyone, set up the service, switch on the reminder. Elly is the assistant inside Convelly that does that part for you. Anything you would do in Convelly by clicking, you can ask Elly to do in a sentence, and Elly shows you the result as a proposal before anything is saved. Elly is a second AI, separate from the AI that answers your customers, and it works only for you and your team.
Two AIs, two jobs
It helps to keep the two apart. The customer AI sits in your WhatsApp and Instagram conversations, answers as your business and books appointments in the chat. Elly never talks to a customer. Elly works inside the app, for the people who run the business: it builds, imports, updates, reports and explains. The guide two AIs, two jobs: customer chat and workspace copilot walks through why the split matters, and the overview of what a copilot inside the CRM actually does puts both in context.
What you can ask Elly to do
The simplest way to describe Elly is with the requests people type on an ordinary day:
- "Create a Win-back pipeline with the stages Contacted, Offer sent, Won, Lost."
- "Import these 40 contacts from this file and tag them VIP."
- "Build an automation that welcomes every new Instagram lead on WhatsApp and follows up after a day if they don't reply."
- "Add a 45-minute Deep Tissue Massage at 80 euros with a 20-euro deposit, and let the AI book it."
- "Which messages did we send most last month?"
- "Invite maria@studio.com to the team."
Behind those sentences sits most of Convelly. Elly finds, adds, updates and tags customers and deals, many at once, moves deals between stages and adds notes. It finds and reads conversations, sends a WhatsApp or Instagram message and adds labels. It sets up services with their booking questions, discount codes, reminders, booking page, limits, staff and rooms, sets working hours and days off, and checks availability. It builds, changes, switches on or off and runs automations, and reports on how they went. It takes care of WhatsApp templates and quick replies, of settings, language and invitations, of connecting WhatsApp or Instagram, and it tells you what is left to set up. And it answers questions about your numbers: conversations, messages, customers, pipeline, automation runs, message usage and follow-ups.
One exception is worth knowing. Elly does not run campaigns. Sending an approved message to many customers at once happens on the campaigns screen, where you see who is left out and why before anything goes out.
The founder of Seabird Marketing describes what that kind of structure changed for his team:
We used to lose leads in our own inbox. Now every conversation has a stage, an owner, and a next step.
— Founder, Seabird Marketing
Nothing changes without your approval
Looking things up is instant: ask who has an appointment tomorrow, and Elly answers. Changing things is different. Every change Elly wants to make is shown to you first as a proposal, whether that is one new service or forty imported contacts, and you approve or reject it. For an automation, Elly shows you the whole flow before anything is saved, step by step, so you can read exactly what will happen when a lead goes quiet. The guide on letting AI change your CRM safely with approve, edit and reject explains why this gate is the difference between an assistant you keep using and one you switch off after a week.
Conversations with Elly are saved. If a proposal was almost right, you can change your earlier request and run it again instead of starting from scratch.
Ask for the number instead of building the report
Convelly's dashboard shows how the business is doing over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or since the beginning, compared with the period before: new conversations, new customers, messages, revenue from won deals, pipeline by stage, conversations per channel and per team member. That covers the standing questions. For everything else, ask Elly: "which stage holds the most money?", "how many automations failed this week?", "which messages did we send most last month?". Elly reports on conversations, messages, customers, the pipeline, automation runs, message usage and follow-ups. Asking your CRM questions instead of building reports shows which questions work best, and running a weekly business review with your copilot turns that into a Monday routine.
Elly remembers your business
Elly remembers facts about your business and your preferences, and you can read and edit that memory at any time, so nothing sits there that you did not want kept. Giving your AI copilot a long memory explains how this kind of context makes the tenth request shorter than the first.
You can also give Elly files: images, PDFs, Word and Excel documents and spreadsheets. Drop in a price list and ask for the services to be set up from it, or a spreadsheet of customers and ask for them to be imported and tagged. If you would rather talk than type, you can. And Elly answers in the language you write in.
Your setup partner from the first minute
Right after you sign up, Elly opens a conversation and walks you through what is left: your channel, your services, your team, and how the customer AI should sound. Before that, Convelly has already read your website and written the AI's description of your business, its rules and its tone, and noted your languages. The whole setup takes about fifteen minutes, and a "Finish setup" card stays on your dashboard until everything is done. If you are bringing a customer list from a spreadsheet, Elly can import and tag it during setup as well.
Use Convelly from Claude or ChatGPT
If you already spend your day in an AI assistant, you do not have to leave it. Convelly can be added to Claude on web, desktop and mobile, to ChatGPT on paid plans, and to developer tools such as Claude Code and Cursor. Connecting takes about a minute: copy Convelly's address into your assistant's settings and sign in with your Convelly account. If the term MCP has come up in your research, connecting external tools to your AI with MCP explains what happens underneath.
A connected assistant can look up customers, conversations, appointments, deals, messages and numbers, add and update customers and deals, send WhatsApp and Instagram messages, add labels and tags, manage follow-ups, write notes and check availability. So a business owner can ask ChatGPT on their phone, "who has an appointment tomorrow and hasn't paid a deposit? Send them a reminder," and it happens in Convelly.
Some things it deliberately cannot do: change automations, services, working hours or pipelines, or delete anything. Those stay in the app and with Elly. Only admins can connect an assistant, every connected assistant is listed with who connected it and when it was last used, and any of them can be disconnected instantly.
Who can use Elly, and what it costs
Elly is available to workspace admins, the people who run everything, including the team, billing, the AI and connected assistants. Members work with conversations, customers, deals and the calendar directly in the app. Elly is included from the Growth plan; the plans and what each one includes are on the pricing page.
In 20 minutes we set up a service, an automation and a pipeline with Elly, on your own business, and you approve every step.
